StoryFilm is your own mini documentary to capture family stories, cherished memories, and special places. Using a unique mix of bespoke cinematic filmmaking, edited with a selection of your own photographs and keepsakes, StoryFilm helps you create a record of family life that will last for generations.

How does it work?

Think of it as your own ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’, where you tell your story using your own research and archive material. We’ll make the film, using interviews with you and others who’re happy to be involved, and we’ll film sequences to help bring your story to life. If you have photographs or other archive material to help illustrate your story we’ll take copies to include in the film. We’ll then put everything together and send you edits to approve on a secure link.

Finished films will be available to download and keep, and for you to post on your own website, YouTube or Facebook page, or - a bit like a wedding film - they can be burned onto a DVD, BluRay or memory-stick for you to keep or share with others.

Depending on the package you choose, shoots can be one, two or three days - and need not be consecutive: we’re happy to work around your availability.

For more in-depth stories, up to 15-20 minutes, perhaps with two interviews, and requiring drone filming on location…

Gold

For more complex stories and/or longer format films. Allows for multiple locations, interviews, and additional drone and B-roll filming.
A minimum of THREE DAYS filming and editing, including pre-production Zoom call, secure download link. personalised DVD/Blu-Ray or flashdrive. From £999 + travel and expenses.
